Motherlode was founded primarily as an independent re-issue label, intending to carve a new space for the younger generation of crate diggers, re-pressing under-appreciated records from around the world.
Mining the depths of Soul/R&B, Disco, Funk; Brit-Funk/Jazz-Funk, and a wide array of global sounds - Motherlode continues to release deep-cut gems of all genres with the hope of bringing them to the ears of a new audience.
